This Privacy Policy explains how ICP Tokens ("the Platform", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our DeFi analytics platform.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Internet Identity Principal: When you log in using Internet Identity, we receive your principal ID for authentication. We do not have access to your private keys or seed phrase.
Wallet addresses: If you use the portfolio feature or explorer, the wallet addresses you enter are stored to display your holdings.
Telegram Chat ID: If you set up price alerts via Telegram, we store your Telegram chat ID to deliver alert notifications.

Information collected automatically

IP addresses: Collected for ad click deduplication and basic security. Not used for tracking or profiling.
Usage data: Standard analytics data such as pages visited, time on site, and referral source (via Google Analytics).

2. How We Use Your Information

Authentication: Internet Identity principal is used to identify your account and provide personalized features (watchlists, portfolios, alerts).
Price alerts: Telegram chat ID is used solely to send price alert notifications you configured.
Portfolio tracking: Wallet addresses are used to display token balances and transaction history.
Ad click deduplication: IP addresses are used to prevent duplicate ad click counting.
Analytics: Usage data helps us understand how the Platform is used and improve the experience.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

The Platform uses:

Cookies: Google Analytics cookies for usage analytics, and essential cookies for session management.
Local Storage: Used to store your preferences (theme, currency), watchlist data, and cached settings for a faster experience. This data stays on your device.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may receive or process data:

Google Analytics: For website usage analytics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Telegram Bot API: For delivering price alert notifications to users who opt in.
ICPSwap: On-chain DEX data source. All data queried is publicly available blockchain data.
Kraken API: Used server-side for ICP/USD exchange rate. No user data is shared with Kraken.
Internet Identity: Blockchain-based authentication on the Internet Computer. Subject to DFINITY's policies.

5. Data Retention

Account data (principal, watchlists, alerts): Retained as long as your account is active.
IP addresses: Retained for a limited period for ad click deduplication, then discarded.
Analytics data: Retained according to Google Analytics default retention settings.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request access to the personal data we hold about you
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Disable price alerts and remove your Telegram chat ID at any time
Clear local storage data through your browser settings

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
